Abbybell

In the last post i talked breifly about our new addition (Our puppy) Abbybell, i talked about how we just found out she has parvo. The doctor told us originally that she would have to stay with them for at least 3 days before we could take her home, well every day either the doctor calls us or we call him, yesterday he told Jeff that she was doing better then she was when she came in, but we would still have to wait a few days before we could see her, because she would get too excited and chew up her ivs, he said as long as it didn't spread to her heart that she would probably make it, either is still a small chance she could die. Today Jeff called the doctor and they said she is worse then when we brought her in the other day, Today has been 3 days and he said she has to get worse before she gets better, he says we probably won't find out if she is going to make it until this weekend. he says normally if they can make it the first 48 hours they have a better chance of surviving. Jeff asked if Abby would be happy and playful when we get her back and the doctor said "no, she will be very weak, she is only on ivs, so they havent given her any food, she will be very skinny, and not have any energy." We are praying that we get her back soon! (My nieces and nephews are already in love with her too and will think we killed her, if she does come home soon.) She is like our kid, while we can't have one. We haven't had her too long and are both soo attatched to her. Get Well Soon Abbybell! We love you.
